This applies not only to women but to everyone in general. We should aim to achieve financial freedom at some point in our lives. As a child, there was no such thing. If we wanted to buy a toy, all we have to do is ask and sometimes, when we are good, we get it. Our toys were smaller and affordable then. Life was so much simpler. We would even be contended with playing dress-up in hand-me-downs.
As life progressed and we got older, our “toys” become more and more expensive and not as easily obtainable as before. We can’t just stick our hands out to say “I want” and be assured that we’d get it. Sometimes, we may have to take long term loans to finance the purchase. Now, that is when things starts to get complicated. Juggling just one (loan) is manageable but imagine, juggling more than that? Loans are not confined to housing or car loans but credit card loans as well. Or taking credit from a furniture shop constitutes a loan as well.
Too many loans and this is precisely the reason why people often default on their loans. During my days of working in the legal industry, I’ve seized assets, sealed properties for clients. Its not something I enjoyed doing but I’ve got a job to do. I would often advise these defaulters to seek foreclosure help. You know, you would think that people or adults have proper financial management skills but let me tell you that the majority don’t and often run into all sorts of financial problems.
So, don’t be a burden to yourself and your dependents. Equipped yourself with as much information as possible on financial management. Ask your friends. Look for investment consultants to help you plan your investments. Do what is right. Aim for financial freedom and lift that burden. Even if you don’t feel the need to but your dependents will be grateful.

I think shopping is the best thing that has ever been invented for women. I honestly wouldn’t know what would happen if there were no shops or no ’shopping’. I would think, its the greatest sin of all to do away with shopping…lol
With the convenience of internet, traditional shopping is slowly creeping away. Not entirely as there is something that the internet would not measure up is the ability for shoppers to taste and feel their products. This is precisely the reason why traditional shops or malls are still thriving in their sales. Nothing beats “touching is believing”.
Having said that, shopping via the internet is terribly convenient and merchants alike love the idea of setting up a web-store even when they have a physical store in place. The reason is a simple one - the folks love it! For example, if I am looking for clothing for girls, all I virtually (sorry, pun intended
) have to do is log on to the internet and check out the massive search engine portal called Google. I will then get a long list of sites where I can find clothing for girls.
What’s more is that these days, merchants are getting more and more innovative with disseminating information to the masses. ShopWiki.com has revolutionizes online shopping since it finds every store on the internet by crawling like Google. For a consumer, this means they can find anything and everything for sale on the web at ShopWiki.com. More products from more stores means better deals and savings for us consumers. For instance, if I want to find clothing for girls, I will get plenty of information and choices available systematically categorized within the page. Now, that is indeed revolutionary.

Frankly, mother’s day shouldn’t be celebrated in just a day but everyday. Meaning to say, we should appreciate our moms everyday that we get to be with her cos a moms role isn’t the easiest one to carry.
Having said that, a mother’s day isn’t too bad to have in our yearly calendar. It gives us a chance to do physically do something as a means of showing our appreciation towards our mom. Lets face it, it isn’t exactly practical to buy gifts and go for gourmet dinners everyday, year after year. Unless of course, you are a super star like Angelina Jolie, you’d probably be able to indulge in such luxury but for the most of us, non-super stars, its just not feasible.
So then, what are the top 3 things that most people do on Mother’s Day? I narrow it down to these :
1. Lunch or dinner at a fancy restaurant. Quite a common thing to do.
2. Go for a planned weekend vacation. This is again quite popular and possible. The only problem would be “where”. Give a thought to Hilton Head rentals, could be worth your while.
3. Another common gift would be flowers but they don’t lasts and needs maintenance.
There you have it. For me, the 3 most common things people do on Mother’s Day. Can you make this day any different for your mom? Share your thoughts with me or if you have already had the celebration, share it here on what you did for your mom on her special day!
Lastly, to all moms out there - you deserve this and plenty more! Have a great one!

There are certainly plenty that you can do with the convenience of the internet. More so when one considers traveling at at least one point in their life.
Many people still fancy physically checking out travel deals via travel agents especially for guided tours. The rationale I gather is that it is cheaper and everything from room and board are taken care of. All these travelers need to ultimately do is virtually NOTHING except make the necessary payments.
Frankly, its nothing more than budget traveling and at times, you may not even have gotten a good deal. For instance, the choice of restaurants will most likely leave too much to be desired and I needn’t bother about the choice of hotels. What’s worst is that they make you get up before sun rise and arrive back to your hotel after the sun sets. Excruciatingly exhausting.
Therefore, no matter what or how convenient it is to pursue a guided tour for your travels, my preference continues to weigh heavily on the DIY side of things. Book your own tour, arrange for your own itinerary. Trust me, you will get the ultimate satisfaction and possibly even land yourselves some great flight deals if only you’d just spend that little extra researching on the internet.

With blogging, I’ve had less time for other internet related activities what with the advent of facebook and all. However, recently I’ve gotten the facebook bug thanks to a dear friend of mine who has been actively scouring and adding “friends”. But still, I find facebook a little limited in features and quite redundant. All it does is serve to update the whole wide world on your life. Meaning to say, your group within facebook will have to be a little private in order for the purpose to work. However, I’ve seen some with 300++ friends? Does anyone even have that many friends in their lifetime to begin with? I mean, I don’t even get that many hits in a day let alone friends I have throughout my life. Now, when I say ‘friends‘, I mean real solid friendship fostered, not some guy you met on the street when you were drunk. I mean, all 300++ odd people can’t possibly be interested in knowing what the heck is a mesothelioma, would they? Or whether you had great sex last night? O_o

I, for one can be a little uncertain when it comes to technology gadgets primarily because I am totally clueless when it comes to IT. I was hesitant when I decided to blog as I knew that I would put myself into the deepest waters ever. Something totally and almost alien to me. However, as with anything, either we swim or sink and I chose to swim instead.
One of the most perplexing question when you are starting out having to sit a considerable amount of time in front of the computer is having a notebook to start with. With the variety of choices of the types of computers we have these days, its no wonder we are stressed even before we begin.
So, to help out someone who is starting out and needing to purchase a notebook (for all I know, you could be blogging using the office computer :-D), 3 things you should look for when narrowing down your choice:
1. Practicality. It is no use having a state of the art notebook when the functions are too complicated and do not serve your purpose. Get a relatively simple one to grasp first and upgrade later if and when the need arises.
2. Memory. Even though you decide that your notebook is used solely for blogging purposes, it is best that you get a computer with higher memory since it facilitates faster processing of the notebook applications for example, dell memory.
3. Accessories. These days notebooks are equipped with plenty of accessories. Just make sure that you choose the ones you need as the price of these notebooks may vary resulting from how many different types of accessories it has.
There, 3 of the most common factors which I think may help narrow down your choice or at least, determine your intended purchase.
