Clearly, I haven’t had much of those.
Gnat and I joined the gym many many years ago but we stopped going for a while now. The guys over at the gym kept calling us and asking us to renew our membership. That was a couple of years back and they’ve since stopped calling. Probably gave up on us as we dragged out feet and delayed in giving them an answer.
Oh…the reasons for us not staying ‘healthy’ were many folds but the primary reason I think was because we didn’t have the time. I don’t know why but time seemed to have come and gone in a flash. Make no mistake; we weren’t exactly individuals with high flying jobs or our lives were packed to the brim with activities. I mean, I know friends who are like that and even more but not us and yet, every year just went by so fast. And, I am basically clueless as to where and how all those years of ours went.
I’ve spoken to Gnat and told him that we should start taking care of ourselves; health-wise. I mean, we are certainly no good to our kids if we are not healthy. As usual, he gives me that nod which I know it was only to humor me. I figured that if he wasn’t keen on doing anything fancy like renewing our gym membership, we could always get a treadmill to compliment his dusty work-out bench. Yeah, he bought one on sale a couple of months ago but frankly, I’ve only seen him working out on it only twice!
At least it’s a start. Or I might go back to the gym myself. I’ll let you in on the scoop and whether I make it there…or not..

That would be my sister’s.
I wanted to take a photo of it but she wouldn’t let me do it. In fact, the car is so precious, she wouldn’t let anyone touch it! LOL..Well, it’s new and I think that will happen to anyone with something new - protect it at all costs. hehehe…
I mean, I remember when I had my new car. I was also pretty protective over it even though, it wasn’t an expensive one but it was bought with all my hard earned money. Our parents couldn’t possibly afford to get one for us. Where we are, even a decent used car can cost a bomb. Furthermore, owning a car isn’t just about the car itself; there is this thing called monthly maintenance, the road tax and not to mention - insurance. Just plenty of ongoing expenses with just one car. I did tell her about getting an auto insurance online quote; the easier and faster solution.
Nevertheless, I think owning a car will benefit her in the sense that it forces you to manage your finances. Indirectly, it teaches you wise up with your spending because now, you have a long term monthly commitment in the form of the car loan. So, I think in the long run, it’s beneficial in many aspects and if you can handle a car, possibly, you can also handle anything.

“Tired, sick, luckily not throwing up. Moody, mood-less. Bloated. Loss of feeling in my mouth”.
This basically sums up how I have been feeling for the last couple of weeks. Sorry if I have not been dropping by your site often; and to the entrecard droppers - thank you. I just have not the time as yet. Hopefully, when I am better, things will be back on track. But, not at the moment. Still feeling a little wuzzy. Plus, I’ve got this seemingly out of control acne problem. Um..maybe, I might have to seek acne treatment soon enough!

Where do you find “love” - if not at your home, in your kitchen!
I was about to make us some French toast for breakfast one Sunday morning (I know - there goes my diet and yes - diet pill may be the solution). And I think, the egg had some “showing off” to do; it promptly assumed the love position as I cracked it open. “How interesting“…I thought to myself before gathering the clan and snapping a picture of it. It almost looked too cute to eat!
However, like they always say - all good things must come to an end and eventually, the adorably shaped egg succumbed to my whisk whilst being doused with milk!
Poor eggy!!
But, I hope you like my picture though

A couple of days ago, the local daily reported a story about how 200 guests to a wedding dinner got sick after consuming the food. That’s for not having Fenphedra. What’s worst - the father of the bride died of a heart attack as well! It wasn’t exactly clear whether the bad food contributed to his heart attack but there sure was a very strong inference to that fact since he had the stomach aches like the rest at first in the hospital.
Now, that is pretty depressing. And horrifying. I mean, I would expect the caterers have that sense of responsibility to ensure that their food is at least humanly edible. I mean, that is their primary objective and sole purpose isn’t it? You would not want to end up having legal action taken against you and a bad rep for serving bad food in the process. I think, people are still acceptable to lousy food but bad food?? I think that’s pretty irresponsible with no civic conscious what so ever.
On the other hand, could it have been a spite? As in someone wanting to get back at the groom or bride for something? Who knows what the possibilities are. I mean, we can never be too sure, can we?

Fridays are days when I post a photo-story.
But, not today.
I’ve decided to give the photos and stories a rest a little. Besides, I haven’t been in the blogging mood for the past week or so. “Surely there must be a reason“…you might be wondering. You are most certainly right; there is something. But, I’m not at liberty to talk about it at the moment; sorry about that. Perhaps later when something that is “un-blogg-able” now, turns “blogg-able” later.
On a lighter note, Gnat’s shipping boxes arrived from Aust yesterday. He came home early to un-pack and oggle over his long and thought-lost treasure. You see, these are stuff which he still had over there when he was a student! Can you just imagine and imagine the mess our house is in right now? I can and even if I wanted to escape from cleaning them up - I can’t.
As of mid-night last night, everything is packed and our friend has finally stopped ooggling hehhe…Let me tell you, it’ll only be for a while. Give it a few more days and all will be forgotten. And, what will be left of our home is more ‘junk’ and accumulated dusts!
