“Tired, sick, luckily not throwing up. Moody, mood-less. Bloated. Loss of feeling in my mouth”.
This basically sums up how I have been feeling for the last couple of weeks. Sorry if I have not been dropping by your site often; and to the entrecard droppers - thank you. I just have not the time as yet. Hopefully, when I am better, things will be back on track. But, not at the moment. Still feeling a little wuzzy. Plus, I’ve got this seemingly out of control acne problem. Um..maybe, I might have to seek acne treatment soon enough!

I know it is probably a little pre-mature to be thinking about Halloween but I figured, it probably isn’t. I mean, it is almost coming to the end of August and I am pretty sure September will go in a flash. And I am not too keen in doing everything at the last moment unless if I am forced to.
The easiest way in celebrating the occasion would clearly be simply deck ourselves up with hideous costumes (it is after all, the night of gouls and I am not inclined to be a fairy) and go out trick or treat-ing. But, no one will buy that here : we’re not in the States. So, I figured to have a party of my own. If I am going to do that, I think the first thing on my list would be to think of nice and fitting Halloween invitations
Just imagine, Ash and her first Halloween party! Am I a baaad mom or what??

Really, there is nothing extraordinary about these windows. Yet, I felt compelled to take a photo of them for whatever reason.
I was at this hill-top french inspired resort one weekend and while snapping photos of almost everything, including everyone (sure am glad no one took away my camera lest they thought I was some desperate seeking paparazzi). It was at that time, standing, leaning against these windows that I heard the most horrible, horrible voice singing one of Celine Dion’s number (I am truly sorry Celine!). I swear, it was worst than how I sound, choking on food!
The ‘noise’ came from those windows.I took a peek inside just to check out the croaker. The fact that I did not take a picture of her proves that she looked as good as her singing was ;-). I retreated from there and before leaving, the windows caught my eye and my view-finder and so, here we are..:-)

Just a couple of months back, hubby went looking for what he calls it his “sexy wheels” for his car. Although, I was also thrilled at getting something new. Then again, its me and I am a woman, buying new stuff is in my blood even if its not for me or nothing girl-y..LOL
Anyway, we went to the workshop that specializes in chrome wheels. There were so many. I didn’t even know where to begin. Hubby on the other hand, had already decided on what he wanted cos he was at the shop before. I chose some which I thought was pretty cool and we narrowed down to 3 designs but in the end, we decided on the one that the owner suggested to us.
It’s a pity though, my hubby doesn’t own a Mustang. Otherwise, he could order his “sexy” Mustang Bullit wheels from the internet. Americanmuscle.com has plenty of really nice rims to choose from. Not to mention, at exceptionally reasonable prices. Apart from that, if you purchase any of the wheels from them, subject to terms, you’ll get free shipping, free mounting and free balancing. Now, wouldn’t you think that is a pretty good deal? I do!
Want to know more? Check out www.americanmuscle.com or call them at 1-866-727-1266, Mondays to Saturdays for more information. Good luck on your sexy wheels hunt!

Everyone has at least one movie or a book that they can read over and over and over…For me, its adult and trashy magazines! LOL…Just kidding.
If I have to pick my all-time favorite movie, it would have to be A Few Good Men. I love the show to bits and no, its not because of Tom Cruise either. Though, he did look absolutely “yummy” but that’s besides the point. Everything about the movie is great. Come to think of it, it may have been the men in uniform! Who knows?! O_O
And, if I have to pick one book among the many books out there, my favorite has to be To Kill a Mockingbird. Read that in literature class and loved it ever since. Honestly, Boo Radley, was and is my hero…*mush*

This year’s women’s tennis got a bit “sentimentally boring” (if there is such an expression). The Williams sisters faced each other (yet again!) at the finals, ensuring that at least the name Williams will be etched on that golden plate. Now, this is not the first time it has happened. They have played each other at the Wimbledon finals for the 3rd time now. The last time it happened, it was such a long time ago that most people thought that that was going to be it, its the end of the Williams’ era.
However, I guess they had other plans, they wanted back into the limelight. Personally, I thought we could perhaps see a new winner from somewhere else causing an upset. But that was not meant to be. Its back to the 2 of them. No one could really get rid of them so easily.
Perhaps the atmosphere at the court side is different. I mean with the excitement and prospect of watching veterans at play in real live, it must have been a different feeling. Something like this doesn’t happen everyday, does it? Veterans coming out and being on top of their game again. Its not like Sampras could now emerge and show off his skills for the fans once again. No, its long gone. So the fact that the Williams sisters have stuck it out, came back from injuries and put on their best for the people who paid an obscene amount of money, it must’ve been worth every penny.
As for me, like I said, I’ve watched them before and I thought they were boring and they were in fact still…boring. Nothing much has changed in terms of their outfits and tennis so…Then again, I watched it at home so the atmosphere isn’t the same. Unless of course, if I had the home theater system, complete with the home theater furniture, the feeling might just be a tad bit different.

The summer is always the best time of the year isn’t it? The kids are out, the parents are out (with their humongous RV) and plenty of sporting events to go around. I usually enjoy a couple, most notably tennis. Unfortunately not everyone’s favourite NFL. I’d much rather watch the NFL TV.
I seriously don’t get what the fuss is all about. The game is a little like rugby but with special suits. And oh, please don’t get me started on the shoulder pads. They make the 60’s look so fashionable. And the jocks? I can’t stand them. They think they are a bunch of hunks but in reality, only half-baked. Who’d have the decency to pay so much money for a NFL Sunday Ticket? Apparently, plenty!
I know I wouldn’t. Not only is the game the worst I’ve ever witness but the entire she-bang is simply silly and outrageous down from the cheerleaders to the water-boy! I would never pay that kinds of money to watch live and certainly would not want to contribute towards their already fat pay check. I’d much rather donate my cash to some worthy cause. That aside, if I must, if I am so eager and dying to watch, I would go for the NFL TV Package. Would seem like a much better option, don’ cha’ think?
