The project we are involved in is still in progress. A little un-nerving but we continue to press on. Never realised the tremendous amount of work involved and no to mention the agony of waiting and more waiting. The uncertainty…the unknown.

Besides with a newborn it’s difficult getting away even for 5 minutes. I mean, we have to take turns going grocery shopping, getting our hair-cut and even visiting a Plano Dentist. So, to sneak in some time is really challenging. I want to look at the positive of things but sometimes, it is simply too difficult.

One good thing is that Ash and I won’t be traveling with Gnat. Yes, that was the “other” exciting news in July. We were supposed to travel to Switzerland with Gnat for 2 weeks. Sure I was excited. I bet if Ash was older and more aware, she’d be excited too. However, with the current swine going on and the traveling period being far too long a stretch, I just thought it best not to get Ash through the process. It might tire her instead of her relaxing; which was supposed to be the case anyway.

Oh well, we’ll just have to do it some other time. Am I disappointed? Well, a little but I am more at peace knowing that it’s the best conclusion for the kids.
