Food to feed the tummy
I’ve been back to cooking lately. And it helps when I’ve discovered some new recipes to share with the family. Although, I must admit that the frequency of me cooking still varies from week to week. But, there have been more variation lately.
I am not sure what prompted me to start this frenzy. Mostly, I think, it has to do with the growing awareness of home-cooked meal goodness and the fact that my little toddler doesn’t want her baby/toddler food anymore. I’m slowly easing the transition since I don’t want to send shock waves to her tiny bowels. I’m glad to say that she’s been loving it so far; which I think it’s a good sign..a sign to continue what I am doing.
However, I still need to expand my horizons a bit. I love Mexican food. Not sure if Gnat digs it as much as I do but ah..since I am the cook, he’ll have to eat what’s on the table..:-). Other than the ones available in my cookbooks, I will need to prowl the net for more new Mexican recipes; you know, just to have a little more variety.
