I was just remembering my in laws and suddenly, this funny thought came to mind – old folks have a really funny way of thinking.

What happened was my PIL went to OZ 2 Decembers ago to celebrate Christmas and New Years. As usual, the kids being concerned kids started stuffing the poor parents with food, vitamins and what-nots. My SIL’s hubby even bought a big tin of calcium thingy to help my PIL fight their joint pains which my FIL was and is experiencing. And the instructions were pretty clear – one per day or as instructed.

However, my PIL being the cautious PIL that they are, they didn’t want to waste the tablets and resorted to only swallowing whenever the pain comes. Needless to say, my SIL again explained that they should take it regularly for the pills to work. I don’t think the explanation worked again because I’ve seen the big tin, still lying around. -sigh-
