I haven’t been posting any images up the last couple of days, have I?

Well, that is going for change – at least for the next couple of day

I’ve been playing around with the new lens I got and I am really loving it. Gnat said I was probably silly getting such a big one for my small bodied camera. I probably was (and possibly still am). However, my reason for getting it is many-fold : I wanted a zoom lens – that’s one reason. Another is because I am looking to upgrade my camera body in the future. How far in the future is anyone’s guess as it is mine but there will be an upgrade.

So, at the moment, it looks really odd (and feels odd) on my D40 but with a little getting used to, I reckon I’d be fine. Besides, this lens will not be sticking permanently to the camera in any case. The kit lens is still a pretty useful lens and with the right conditions, I’ve been able to capture pretty good images (of course, if I do say so myself ).

I’m pretty sure my MIL was relieved to get that heavy thing out of her luggage. And yes, if she had incurred any penalty in having to transport my lovely obsession, I am to blame. But, luckily there wasn’t. The only downside was that her luggage looked extremely over-weight and looked as if it needed the best weight loss supplements to help reduce it heheheh…Of course, there was no need for such thing – it had “liposuction“…LOL
