This is the place I go to when all is calm and when I’m done for the day. Granted there isn’t any fireplace in my house although, I think it would be nice to have one but this comes very close. I sit here, next to the side-coffee table to simply relax and unwind after trudging the day. It’s my most peaceful time of the night.

Typically, if you’re braving the cold, it’s best to snuggle up with a huge blanket; preferably an electric blanket but I’m lucky in the sense that we have summer here all around and the last thing we need is to keep warm. I’d be at my comfy spot with a cold drink (if it’s still pretty early) and the air-conditioning turned on. It’s times that I feel extremely lucky to be where I am – no cold, no frostbite, no shoveling..but on the other hand, there are pretty awesome sights during winter. And since spring is about to make it’s way over to some parts of the world, it will be prettier
