A sudden change of plans. I am going to Switzerland afterall. Am I excited? Hell ya!!

It did take some convincing though..rather a whole lot of convincing from Gnat and my mom. I didn’t feel good leaving the kids behind while I embark on this wild and crazy trip. But, my mom assured me that the kids will be fine with her and I should go, get away for a while and come back refreshed (hopefully).

Since Gnat has a place to stay and it will be for about 2 weeks, heck, why not. Not that we have many opportunities like this – being away from the kids, just doing adults stuff.

So, for trips like this, it would be good to have the convenience of digital camcorders. However, I think my entry level DSLR will suffice for now. I mean, I am not about to go splurge on those sort of thing for a short trip like this. Besides, I don’t have the time to do so; I’ll be busy checking out places to visit.
