The guardian
One of my goals (I prefer not to call them ‘resolutions” cos they sound so pressurizing) for this year is to take as many photos as possible. It could be photos of anything, anything at all.
After spending almost a month at my mother-in-law’s, I believe I’ve got quite a collection of images. Her place is such an inspiration — as can be seen with the image above. Funny enough, it wasn’t the first thing that I took a picture of; which I should’ve. I have no idea why I didn’t initially. I was more obsessed with capturing all the lovely flowers she has in her garden. And after looking around for more nature inspired objects, I stumbled upon this lovely figurine. I never looked back ever since.
I would say that I’ve got more photos than I expected to. Now, that is a good thing, wouldn’t you agree? There are a myriad of things that I can do with my images : I could turn them into wall-posters, frame them up and give them away as gifts. Nothing beats having your own work on print; I’d be ecstatic beyond words!
I think I could do more with a Rackmount monitor as my lappie screen is just too small for processing especially. And given that Christmas has come and gone, it maybe a good to hold off the idea for now. However, you can’t keep a girl from dreaming..:-D

I share your goal…with the addition of hoping that many of them will be good ones! I work off a laptop too…while I think a larger monitor might be helpful, it’s just not practical since I relocate every 6 months. It’s good enough
