The Australian Open has started. You don’t know how glad I am that it is the Australian Open and not say, the US Open. Don’t get me wrong- I am a fan of both but just that watching the US Open irritates me most because, since it’s aired live, the program starts at 11pm my time. Come 3am, I’d be dead tired and will fall asleep on the couch. But, that is usually when the fun begins when my idol comes out to play.

So you see, not only do I always miss watching my idol, I’d have to walk around like a panda (deark circles under eyes) during the US Open. Another reason why I prefer the Australian and all the other Opens compared to the US is that they don’t blast loud music during intermission. Makes it feel like a cheap RM50 boxing game than a high-end sporting tournament. I mean, you don’t see Tiger Woods playing in the field with balloons or clown acts and what-nots, do you?
